Flag for South East England

actual size:

A flag for The South East of England, inspired by a similar flag I saw onli= ne. The red side represents Kent and the Blue side represents Sussex (the b= lue is altered to that in the flag of Oxfordshire), which are the 2 most pr= ominent counties in the region. The Martlets (birds) also represent Sussex = and the Horse also represents Kent. The River Thames running through the mi= ddle represents Oxfordshire and Berkshire, with this symbol also appearing = on the Oxfordshire flag. The keys represent Surrey and the swan represents = Buckinghamshire. I have not included Hampshire/the Isle of Wight in the fla= g due to them having a much weaker connection to the South East and sometim= es more of a South West/ just South identity. It was also getting a little = crowded...
